Color Series

Méndez Caratini has been known for his color photographs of folk festivals in Hatillo, Ponce and Loíza. His keen eye captures the exuberant coloring of the costumes juxtaposed to hand-selected backgrounds, the joy of celebration and the remarkable craftsmanship of local artisans.
