Los sueños del patriota, 1977-1979

Black and White Series

This photo essay has its inspiration in the mysteries of Agony, Death and Transfiguration. In essence it documents the liberation of political prisoner Andrés Figueroa Cordero and his dreams. It culminates with the liberation of four nationalist comrades who had been jailed for a quarter of a century. In 1981 this photo essay was awarded an Honorable Mention by Casa de las Américas, La Habana, Cuba.
